In Christmas Town Tønder, we go the extra mile – also when it comes to our use of materials and energy. We focus on using resources responsibly and taking good care of what we already have. Here are a few examples:

Whenever possible, we buy locally – including our Christmas trees, which come from local suppliers.

Our Christmas lights use energy-efficient LEDs, and we repair and improve our Christmas decorations and displays so they can be reused year after year.

Waste bins are placed throughout the Christmas town, making it easy for our visitors to help keep Tønder clean and welcoming.
